Washington, DC (Apr 30, 2018) — Heather Cox is a fourth grade teacher and grade level chair at Crabapple Crossing Elementary School in Milton, Georgia. A transplant from Cleveland, Ohio, Heather began teaching in the Fulton County School system in 2004. Throughout the past school year, Heather helped to begin a Bring Your Own Technology pilot in the fourth and fifth grades, which provides instruction and training to teachers during and after school. In addition, with the aid of a team teacher, Heather began an after-school technology club to further technology instruction beyond the school day. As a current member of Fulton County’s first Vanguard Technology team, Heather continues to seek ways to improve and expand her professional knowledge and technology instruction in the classroom.
